I dropped my iphone in the bathtub what do i do?

It was my birthday and my friends planned a scavenger hunt. I had to sit in the bathtub and search for a clue. I didn't realize it but my iphone 4 was in my pocket. I was in the tub with my pocket for about 30 seconds as soon as we figured out we put in a closed bowl of rice. We left it in there for 2 weeks. We took it out and it worked for about a week. Then when it died it wouldn't start up. Now when we charge it the apple sign will come up for a few seconds and then it will go off. It does that over and over Help!

Water can destory electronics. If you already tried to let it dry several days or turned it on then it may be to late. Otherwise make an appt and take it to an apple store so they can look at it. It may go down as a good lesson learned on how to better take care of your phone in the future.
If your contract is up, I would just get a new iphone and put your money towards that rather then towards fixing a water damaged phone.
You can recycle your old stuff on apple's site and they will give you store credit for it, so at least you will get something back for it. Even if damaged something is better then nothing.
