I dropped my iphone in the bathtub
I took it out of the water immediately but the screen turned black before I could power it down. Right now it is in a tupperware container full of rice. Is there anything I can do further to save my precious phone?
Nope that is all you can do right now, and wait also… Hopefully your phone won't get fu<ked up
Sounds like you are doing all you can, but there are people that fix phones with water damage you can find in a lot of towns.

I think you have messed up your iPhone pretty bad don't do anything your self leave it to a professional in hardware of iPhones or go to a AppleCare of gallery they can fix your problem
You have already done the best thing you could have. Like someone else has already said there are shops in some citys/towns that can repair water damaged phones.
You could also use those little packages that come in shoes and pill boxes that say "Do Not Eat."
They can sometimes work better then rice.
Too bad you can't take the battery out of your iPhone: P
- My iPhone 4 fell into the bathtub, but it's still working? When I was taking a shower my iPhone 4 fell into the bathtub. It didn't get complitely wet, it was just the top. I quickly got it out and it was working. I turned it off and dryed it with a towel. At first, the audio wasn't working but now it does. - Just dropped Iphone 6 into bathtub full of water? Its working perfectly fine, taking photos, playing music etc and is sitting in rice now. Just wondering if there will be any side effects to my phone. Was only in the bath tub for about 7 seconds.
