I dropped my iphone in water and now the button on it doesn't work?
If i get a new one from the istore will i lose all the pictures and stuff i have on there?
I would try connecting the phone to a computer even if the phone doesn't turn on. Hopefully then you can at least transfer all your files to your computer so you don't lose them.
As for the phone, you can put it in rice for a few days to hopefully get all the water out and if that doesn't work you would have to get a new phone.
If you connected it to your computer then itunes probably already backed it up, contacts, pics, etc… And can resync with your next phone automatically. Its one of the great features of itunes that I like.

Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
