Put it in a zip lock bag with rice.
Put your phone in Rice over night, trust me it will soak up the water.
Try putting yr phone into a bag of rice. If this doesn't work then its hopeless, since some of the parts are corroded by the salt in the water.
- Just dropped Iphone 6 into bathtub full of water? Its working perfectly fine, taking photos, playing music etc and is sitting in rice now. Just wondering if there will be any side effects to my phone. Was only in the bath tub for about 7 seconds.
- I dropped my iPhone six into water for a full three seconds! What do I do? It had an off brand otter box on it, and the audio is perfect from both ways per usual, but I'm afraid to plug it up to charge. What do I do? Please help! I can't afford to fix this or buy a new phone.
- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- I dropped my iPhone, and I need to know how to fix it Pretty much, I was walking and I guess I just dropped my iPhone. It literally went black, and just won't turn on! I really don't want to make my parents have to buy me a new one, so can you please please please give me a way to fix it? Also, how can I convince them to let me get a new one if fixing it doesn't work?
