I dropped soda on my iPhone, what's should I do?
I had a bottle of Fanta leak onto my iPhone 3GS. The home button wouldn't work, and it kept saying that "this accessory is not optimized". I read other suggestions and stuck it in a bowl of rice.
I checked on it after an hour and saw that the phone had turned off and wouldn't turn back on. Is this normal or is my phone screwed?
Finish the soda and buy a new phone
Just open the cover and wait for it to dry don't switch on for 1 full day.
You need to keep it in the rice for more then a hour. I would say like 24 hours or more!
- What to do if you spilled soda on your iPhone? I just accidentally spilled my full glass of pop on my iPhone? What should I do? The sound isn't working now and it's being slow.
- What happens if you spill a little bit of soda on your iphone? So yesterday, I spilled a little bit of soda on the die of my iphone, but it wasn't really that bad to me. Just a little big on the side, but I don't think anything got into the internal. And now I feel like its running kind of slow, or am I just paranoid?
- If you spill soda on an iPhone screen will anything happen? This is kinda stupid, but I just got my new iPhone 4S with my phone upgrade and I'm gonna try to keep it in perfect condition, I have a case and a screen protector on, and I was drinking a monster and a drop spilled on the screen, so I was kinda worried it might burn through the screen protector and damage the screen, could that happen? Or will anything happen to the screen?
- I dropped my iPhone in water and now the screen won't turn on what should i do? It seems like the phone is still working because it still makes noise when I touch the buttons and my alarm still went off this morning but the screen is completely black. It is in rice now but is that still the best solution if everything is working except my screen? And I know I'm supposed to turn it off but I can't because the screen won't work.
