I forgot my lockscreen passcode of my iPhone 5S?

I forgot my lock screen passcode on my iPhone 5S, how do I remove the passcode without knowing it or what should to do?

Someone suggested me to restore my phone from existing backups by using iTunes, but i'm worries about some of the data will be lost if using this method. Anyone can help me out?

You might try going into www.icloud.com and into Find My iPhone and try setting your iPhone to lost mode or setting the passcode that way (if you have FindMyiPhone enabled of course) and then back into normal mode again after you put in new pass.

What you can do is transfer all files to a main folder on a computer and then you run a factory reset. Then you can transfer all your files back on

Ou can restore your iPhone to unlock your iPhone.

1. Connect the iPhone to the computer with a USB cable and launch iTunes.
2. If you have a new or erased iPhone, iTunes will prompt you to restore from backup. Otherwise, Control-click on your iPhone under DEVICES in the left menu.
3. Select Restore From Backup. Choose the backup you wish to sync and click the Restore button.

If you don't want any data loss or didn't back up your iPhone with iCloud before, you should apply the method below:

Step 1: Enter DFU mode.
a> Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your computer
b> Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.
c>: After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.

Step 2: Using third-party app to copy the passcode from DFU mode.
