I found a activated iphone 4s?
I found it last week, at a night club, it had only one contact number on it, i called it and they didn't answer. It had a lock, i unlocked it tho and took of the sim card.everything was like new, but i noticed i can still make calls on it and receive text messages. Can they still track it even tho it doesn't have the sim card?
Added (1). I tried getting t the person but i can't. And i don't wanna give it to the police cus they'll just have it in their office.
If they have find my phone installed chances are the minute you connect to Wi-Fi or 3G then the police will come knocking

I would keep trying to return it, give another 3 or 4 days, after that, if no one try's to call it or find it, I would keep it or sell it whatever you want to do with it.
Yes every phone has a unique model# It would be easy for the person to retract that phone if they knew what they were doing I recommend jailbreaking/rooting that phone right away and disabling the gps feature for awhile if you want to keep it. Or you can do the right thing and return it.

Better for you to hand it in than the police coming to your house to collect it.
Iphone has a tracking chip installed and the police might knock at your door it the owner complaints about the lost iphone
- Why factory unlocked iphone 4s is showing that the iphone is not activated? I bought factory unlocked iphone 4s on ebay for my sister-in-law who is in europe. And the seller assured that it is factory unlocked and will work perfectly. I have non activated sprint sim card and when i inserted it in to the iphone it showed that "the iphone is not activated.contact the carrier". What does it mean?
