I found an broken iPhone 7. How do I find out the gigabytes and service provider?

I found an iPhone 7 at a local festival. The phone is shattered and the screen no longer turns on. The sim card was broken in the phone but I still have yet to attempt to connect it to itunes. I plan on selling it but I need to figure out the gigabytes and the service provider of the phone. Because the screen doesn't work, I have had trouble doing so. Please help! "An" broken?

If you found it then it most likely has an iCloud Lock on it (lost/stolen mode) this can't be bypassed and selling it would be selling stolen goods which is a route you really don't want to go down.

Edit: You either risk it by breaking the law and selling it. Or you hand it into a police station stating where you found it. The phone is useless to you and anyone else but the owner

They'll know what to do with it, I'm not exactly sure on the steps they take with finding the owner. As for selling it, again it would be illegal as it's a lost/stolen device, no legit place will buy it and you have no idea if it's iCloud locked unless you get the screen fixed, if it is and you sell it then it can go horrible wrong for you.

Well even if the SIM is broken in most cases it should have some sort of ID'ing mark as far as the carrier.

Selling it, no sense.

Activation Lock would make it useless to anyone else other than the owner.
