I found an iphone 4s can i keep it?
I found the phone a couple months ago and could not get in touch with the owner. The Iphone is also locked. Can I keep it for my own use? I want to keep it but without service and use it as an ipod touch. What can I do?
Please don't tell what is ethical and that I should continue to try to find the owner. I have tried but could not contact the owner!

Just do what ever you want to do. Think for your self. If you never used an ios device then you should keep it with you. I think the owner is a rich careless guy or else he should have taken his phone by now.
The ethical thing to do is to find the owner but if it's locked, you can't search for the owner.
If you haven't received a call by now, you can probably keep it. But what's the point since it's locked.
At this point yes, I would just keep it. A few months is plenty of time. You could also trade it in and upgrade.
