I found an iPhone on eBay for dirt cheap. Is it a scam?
I found an iPhone on sale at eBay for 80¢. They claimed it was never opened, still in box, and includes headphones. I find this extremely hard to believe and automatically decided it was a scam. But i know eBay has a strict policy, so i started wondering.
is it a scam? And please no "um duh" answers. If you are going to give an answer, i need proof. Don't just assume.thanks!
Added (1). Sorry its 90¢ and its at http://www.ebay.com/...0931479795
Give us a link to the website
I don't think it's a scam, but it might be a trick. It could be the older iPhone, or something about it is off. If it's a scam, it's usually for more money, not less. But I'd suggest not buying from them. It doesn't seem real honestly.
EBay only act on scams when they are notified. Until then, it is caveat emptor - buyer beware.
It must've been the starting bid because the bid is now at $26 and still has 6 days and a few hrs left!
Brad is right, with 6 days to go, the price may even reach the "Buy it Now" price.
The low price was just a starting bid, and the seller probably has a hidden reserve price - they will not sell it for too cheap, you can be sure.
As for the rest of it, read the ad and make sure it matches what you want, and that it will work fine for you. I notice it is set to AT&T as the carrier right now.
- Which iOS navigation app should I download for finding new dirt roads? There are a ton of dirt roads where I live at, but I want to find some new ones to ride. Anyone know of a good iPhone app that shows which roads are dirt roads (unpaved)? There's Navigation by Telenav, MotionX GPS app, a TomTom and Garmin app, etc. But I'm not sure which one would be the right one for finding dirt roads. Basically, I want one that actually shows you that it's not a paved road. Anyone have any experience with these apps or know of one that would do what I want?
- What is an online shop where i can get stuff dirt cheap? I want to buy an iphone 4s but i'm pretty much broke. I would preferably want a chinese o\one where there only like not even $50.
- Selling a iPhone 4 on EBay - Scam I'm selling a IPhone 4 on eBay and a potential bidder is saying they wish to come and view the phone before bidding. This I have no problem with but they are adamant they want my phone number to ring me to arrange coming to see it… Why would they not be happy with my address? Is there a scam that they can run if they have my number?
- Mkehmonghealth.com/buy cheap apple products website, is it a scam? I was browsing through the internet for an unlocked iPhone 5 for cheap and I guess this website sells them cheap, new and unlocked! Has anyone ever ordered from here? Because that would be great if I can order and iPhone 5 for $188 dollars.
