I got a text from tmobile saying I won a tablet?
So this morning i wake up to a tmobile text and it gave me an email and it said your mobile number was selected as the winner of a brand new 32GB tablet pc! And it gave me a link to go get my "prize" is this true? And when I went to the website it was an iphone?
No.
I've been getting texts like that from "Walmart" and "Target" saying I won a $5, 000 gift card that I entered to win. It's just a scam, sorry bro (I got excited too).
My best guess its spam or a trick.iv got 20 of them and they were scamers
Go to the T-Mobile shop and ask them if its real or a scam what if you ignore it and you acctually DID win a tablet!
No. It's smishing (mobile version of phishing). Hope you didn't enter any personal info or credit card number.
Just a scam.
Hmm… It sure sounds like a scam to me. I've read a similar ploy being reported at http://www.callercenter.com/815-383-4187.html. If you read the report, I bet you'd agree with me.
I suggest you report that phone number to callercenter and warn others. Your post can help save somebody from being victimized.
- Why does my iphone 5s keep on saying 'no service' i just got it about 20 mins ago? My dad just bought me an iphone 5s about 15-20 minutes ago. I just got home and wanted to call my friend but it said 'No Service'.So I asked my sister and she said her iphone was able to call and text immediately after her purchase. I would like to fix this problem by tonight if not tomorrow. I also tried the airplane mode method and it didn't work.
- Text message saying i'm going to be charged £4.50 a week? So i got this message from 77games saying that i've been entered in an iphone giveaway which i didn't enter for £4.50.It says text stop to 82344 to stop it but i have no credit left! What do i do? Can they seriously charge me? If so how?
- Tablet snapshots on the Tablet and iPhone? I'm not very tech-savvy guy, go please forgive me. But does a Samsung note 10.1-the 2013- snapshot consume more memory space than a iPhone 4 in general? Here are the dimensions(again I do not know what I'm doing) Tablet(Note) 10.1" widescreen 1280x800 WXGA TFT LCD 149 pixels per inch (ppi) iPhone 4 640 x 960 pixels, 3.5 inches (~330 ppi)
- Should I buy a laptop or a tablet? How do pages display on a tablet? I have an iPhone 6s Plus. It almost seems redundant to buy a tablet, but they are more affordable than a laptop. I prefer the way web pages display on a laptop. I have never had a tablet, do they display pages more like a phone or a laptop?
