I got nothing for Christmas?

I know what you guys are thinking right now, I'm a selfish little brat; but I got absolutely nothing for Christmas. I'm a straight a student, I help out in the soup kitchen all the time and I'm from a middle class family. I wouldn't have a problem with it but my brothers both got a trip to the UK and a iPhone 5. You know what was under the tree for me, nothing. It hurts because it's a tradition that we open our gifts on Xmas eve and we all get something, I even asked my parents what I got but they said "Don't bother asking" I only got a book last christmas too and barely anything during the year (food, and 3 t-shirts) I know christmas Is about giving and love but none of that was shown to me.

Favoritism maybe?

Well keep doing good in school, grow up, make a lot of money, buy yourself whatever you want and don't give those mean people a thing. That'll show em

Keep doing well in school, try really hard, go to college, get your degree, and make something of your life. You'll be able to do anything you want. And I'm sorry your parents are like that.

That's horrible that they gave your brothers something and not you. Ask them. I would go straight up to them and ask. I have a brother and my mom try's to even out our presents

I'm really sorry! I also didn't get anything.you're not alone. I mean, i'm a little upset but you kept your composure! Many kids would become really bratty in this situation. Try not to let it bother you. Do you have any of your own money? Maybe buy yourself a little gift? I think it was very rude of your parents to do that. It almost seems as if they favor your brother more. Just use this for the future! When you have kids, make a promise to always treat them equally.
