I got sent a verification code for MeetMe on my iPhone 5, but I didn't sign up?
This morning I woke up to see a verification code sent from MeetMe on my iPhone 5, but I never signed up for it I don't even know what it is?!
It could be an honest mistake. All you need to do is contact the support group for meetMe (by phone or email) and explain that you didn't sign up for this but have a verification code. I'm sure they will be willing to fix this so it doesn't happen again.
Suggest you report it to the people/website who are behind meetMe.
Somebody entered your phone number when trying to sign up.
Most likely a typo by the other person. Just ignore it and don't worry.
