I got the power bank portable charger and I have problems?
I got the power bank portable charger 2600 Mah & I charge it all night, and I charge my iphone 5 in the morning. It charges, but the portable charger over heats and stops charging my phone and I have to charge the portable charger. Can anyone help me fix this problem?
A power bank is just a fancy name for "battery". It does two basic functions exactly like a battery:
1. Charge up when connected to a power source
2. Discharge when connected to device
If it heats up, it is either poorly made or not compatible with the iPhone 5 battery specs (3.8 V, 5.45 Wh, 1,440 mAh). There's probably nothing you can do to "fix" it, other than try to not trying to fully charge the iPhone using the power bank, disconnecting it when it builds up some heat; then reconnecting it when it cools down. In theory, a 2600 mAh should be able to charge 1440 mAh around 1.5x, but heating will run up resistance (ironically creating even more heat) and reduce this value.
- Which portable power bank is better for iPhone 5? Since my phone always dies when I'm out, I decided to look for a portable power bank on online. Just wondering which one is better, 5600mah or 2600mah? Need a quick response.
- Power bank turns off when charging iPhone? Within a few seconds of plugging my iPhone in, the lights on the power bank turn off, and my iPhone stops charging. Could this be a defective cord? Or is it the power bank/ my iPhone? Please help, it's making charging my phone almost impossible because it won't charge through an outlet. Only my power bank.
- Power bank i5-2200 is not charging? Its the power bank charger for the iPhone 5 and it usually blinks when charging but its not I changed cords but it may be something wrong with the power bank itself. And i've only had it for about 2 weeks
- Portable Power Bank by Merkury? I have this Portable Power bank to charge my iPhone: http://www.merkuryinnovations.com/portable-power-bank-2000-mah/ I plan on taking it to a trip to Canada next week because I won't always have access to a wall port to charge my phone. I'm wondering, though, how long the charge in the power bank will last? For instance, if I charge the port overnight on Tuesday and I'm leaving Friday morning, will the power bank still be fully charged and be able to charge my phone?
