I have a 2005 Ford Hybrid Escape with no AUX output?
The SUV has a factroy Nav unit and 6 cd changer at the bottom of the seat. How can I connect my ipod or iphone to play music with either source. I have tried PIE and does not seem to work. Please help me out here… I even tried best buy and no solution.

You need to buy an AUX(auxiliary) input adapter for your application. It will plug into the back of the radio and then allow you to run the RCA to 3.5mm (1/8") headphone jack cable to the dash area to plug in an iPod or other MP3 player. It will mean disconnecting the external CD changer however.
