I have a dead pixel on my iPhone 4S will they replace my phone?
I've had my iphone for about 3 weeks now and I've found a dead pixel and I'm wanting to take it back to get a new one. But I've got a minor chip on the back of the phone at the top of the plastic outline bit which holds the glass on the phone, it's not smashed or anything just got a little chip about 1mm big and I'm worried they won't replace it just cause of that? Will they make a fuss about it?
Take it to the Apple Store, let them have a look at it. Chances are that if it's still in warranty they'll replace it no problem.
Don't worry take it to the apple store they will have a look at it replace the entire phone and put all your old stuff from your old iphone to the new one or they will simply fix a dead pixel is covered by the warranty
- Can they get into the phone if they know the passcode when it's in lost mode? I had an iPhone with a passcode and it and it got stolen by someone I know. But they know the passcode to get in the phone. If the phone is in lost mode, can they still open the phone with the passcode? Or you you have to disable it through Find my IPhone? I won't report this person but I want to make sure they can't use the phone, even if they have it.
- My aunt and uncle have the same Apple ID. I think they need separate ones, do they? I've told them to get separate ones in the event that they need to back up their phones or get new ones. Don't they need separate ones? They hardly back up their phones or hook up their iPhones to the computer.
- If I bring my own phone that is unlocked to a carrier, will they lock it with them and do they have every right to do that? I have an iPhone that I just had unlocked so I can go switch to another carrier, but I'm wondering what will happen when I take it to another carreir to put service on it. Will they lock it with them?
- I sent a text message to someone who has their phone off right now. Will they see it when they turn their phone on? We both have iPhones so I sent it on iMessage but sent it as a text message after since the message didn't say delivered. Will they still see it when their phone is on?
