I have a gevey sim unlocked iphone 4S t-mobile and can't send text messages?
I see that this question has been asked but no one has given an answer that worked for me. I have hard reset it and turned on data cellular settings but neither one worked. Nothing is wrong with the sim card, the phone, or the service. Any suggestions?
That's bcoz the the phone is unlocked with a Gevey SIM and there are certain drawbacks of using Gevey SIM. Get it factory unlocked and you won't have any issue except you won't get 3G on T-Mobile. Check online for factory unlocking iPhone 4S.
Better get it factory unlocked.
From dialing pad, keyin the following and press call
*5005*7672*+12063130004#
after that, keyin *#5005*7672# and call again, to confirm if the message center number has been changed to +12063130004, if it is, then try sending another message again.
This should fix the problem.
