I have a IPhone 5 new unactivated, will any nano sim work in it from the start. UK?
I'm on contract with Orange and have received my free upgrade IPhone 5 new in sealed box. Does this mean the phone is locked to Orange. I have heard that if i use another service providers sim to activate it, that network will also work. Any advise appreciated.UK only.
I'm pretty sure most Orange phones are locked to the network and you would need to get it unlocked to use other providers.

- Will T-Mobile have nano-sim cards when the new iphone comes out? I want to buy an unlocked new iphone when it comes out and use it for T-Mobile, but since the new iphone will most likely be using nano-sim cards. - Will an unlocked iphone 5 work with any nano SIM card? My friend is selling me her iphone 5. It's factory unlocked from verison, but she was on tmoblie service. I use straight talk and you can bring your own phone, you just have to buy the nano sim. I bought a tmobile compatible nano sim, assuming since she was on tmoblie service, she bought it from them. Should this be a problem or is this okay?
