I have a lost/stolen iPhone 4S, how do I find the rightful owner?
I bought an iPhone 4S off of EBay and Verizon said its listed as lost/stolen. I'm getting my money back and all that jazz, I just want to find out who's phone this is? The phone was sent to me charged and it was also restored back to how it was fresh out of the factory. Is there a way to find out who's phone this is? My main priority is to find out who owns this phone.
Maybe call the phone company and tell them the phone number of the phone
I'm pretty sure there's a serial number on it. You could try phoning Apple and explaining that you have a phone that was stolen and it has been wiped. They might be able to help.
Kudos to you for doing the right thing!
Call the company. It seems like they probably stole it from a store but who knows!
- My iPhone just got stolen and i didn't put on Find my iphone. Is there a way i can find it without find my iphone? I have found out that i can remove my iphone from associated devices. Does doing this erase the iphone?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- I've lost my iPhone and it didn't have find my phone turned on. Is it still possible to find it? I have the same Apple ID on that phone Both iPhone 7s (one is with me the other one is lost) Doesn't have SIM card inserted Nor find my iPhone or find friends are turned on
- How to get into a phone that has Find my iPhone activated but no sim card? Or contact the owner of this lost phone? I found this phone on the sidewalk today and I have been trying to find out who it belongs to. I thought that if I went to get the sim card, I could contact their provider (like ATT, Versizon, etc) and ask them to return the phone. But there isn't even a sim card on the phone. It also has this Find My iPhone thing, so it feels like there's nothing I can do. Any suggestions on how I could get it back to the owner?
