I have an iphone 4 running on ios 4.2.Is an ios 6 update recommended?

I didn't update to ios5 dreading problems of update but now all apps require atleast an ios5. Since ios 5 update isn't available anymore, shouldi go for ios 6 or problems like Wi-Fi bug, apple maps make stickin to ios 4 a bettr option.

I too have an Iphone 5, and I have recently upgraded to ios 6. I have had no problems with it. The only downside is that the YouTube app is now gone, and you have to download a new one from the appstore (It's still free, don't worry). But aside from that, I have no complaints, and I would recommend it to others.

Its better you upgrade. As you have to do it one day. There are some small problems and I believe the problems would be ironed out soon. Its takes time to mature.

  • This cable is not recommended for this iPhone and may not be reliable? I recently bought a new but un-Apple-certified lightning cord for my iPhone 5c, but this error message has started popping up after about using it about 5 times. Now, my phone is completely dead, and I have no money to buy a new cable, no cable that will charge my phone, and a dead phone. I'm completely desperate for help here, since, like a cliche white girl, my phone is my life.
  • Recommended Kanji Dictionary iPhone app? I'm looking for an iPhone app that is a Kanji dictionary where I can write an unknown kanji and it will give me the meaning. I would prefer it if it works even if the stroke order is wrong because I'm not always sure about how to write it. I just need it solely as a dictionary. Teaching/quizzing me isn't necessary Free is the preferred option but I will buy it if it's good.
  • Recommended case for iPhone 5c? I've always been clumsy with my phones (my last one had a big crack in the front AND back…) and I just recently got an iPhone 5c. Considering the outside is made of plastic, I'm going to need a sturdy, protective case. I'd like for it not to be very bulky so it can slip easily in my pocket. Any recommendations?
  • Is Raspberry Pi Good? (Computer/Tech Guy Recommended)? So my friend told me Raspberry Pi is EPIC. It has 700mhz, which is less than my computer and iphone 4s. I'm wondering. Is iphone and windows phone better than raspberry pi mini laptop?
