I have an iPhone 4s.I want to hard restest it?
I bought an iPhone 4s and i want to hard reset it. I don't know the password and every time i try and reset it it says can't reset till passcode is enter but i can't put in the passcode. What should i do?
Chances are that you bought a stolen phone. If it's iCloud locked, it will be useless.
Put your phone in DFU mode and restore it in iTunes.
Go through the Set Up process, and if it asks for the previous owner's Apple ID to continue, you're screwed.
If it isn't iCloud locked, then you should be fine.

All you need is their phone number, and a cheap piece of software and you have access to everything on the phone (including deleted info) Why make a huge scene about it, when there are much easier ways to bypass lock screen encryption? - I have a new laptop and have Itunes, I want to make a new, fresh account? Previously My whole family (about 7 devices) were all on one itunes account and one laptop. This caused me to get my dads bagpipe music, my moms Irish music, and my brothers horrible rap music. This laptop is all mine and i want to have my own music. I'm fine with repurchasing all the songs again. But i need to permanently delete all my old itunes files on my iphone now then add it to my new account. Can someone show me how to do that?
