I have an iPHONe 6 and it went straight to black. I held the home button and the screen button, and it still doesn't work?
Does anyone know how to fix it?
A phone store might be able to do some good…
Have you tried putting it into recovery mode with iTunes? Hold down the home button and connect your phone to your computer. Keep holding the home button until you see the iTunes logo pop up. Sometimes using this you can reset the iPhone to its last backup. If not, you may have to bring it to an authorized servicer. I say authorized because we took my wife's 8 plus to a place that offered a good deal. About a week after they fixed it, it bricked out. Called the place that worked on it and they basically said "good luck proving it was our fault it broke". Took it to Apple and they said they could see that it was serviced by an unauthorized dealer and we had to buy a whole new phone.

- Power button and home button doesn't work on iPhone 5C? Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
- My iphone screen went black, but the phone is still working? I was using my phone all day long and it was working perfectly. Then all of a sudden the screen went black and I thought the screen just dimmed down, so I hit the lock button but it stayed that way. Every once in a while it would light up for like one second when i got a text, but then go black again. My sound still works and everything just the screen is black. What can i do?
