I have an old IPod Classic and I'm trying to transfer music to an IPhone 4s?
So I have an IPod Classic from 2006-07 and have 3000+ songs on it. The music is from my old computer with the iTunes library of my Classic. Right now I have an iPhone 4s which is still on version 6.1.2. I have some 400+ songs on the phone from the old computer iTunes and store bought. I recently got a new computer with an empty iTunes library and did not sync neither iPhone or iPod yet. Whenever I try to sync my iPod Classic to the new computer it says my entire iPods library will be deleted and will upload all the songs from the computer (which I obviously don't have any songs on the computer yet) on to my iPod. I don't want any songs deleted.
What I'm trying to do is put all my songs from the iPod Classic to the new computer and then sync my iPhone to put the songs on the iPhone. Is there some sort of solution I can do so my Classic's library doesn't get deleted from the iPod itself and computer? I'm worried that all my songs will get deleted from existence. Please help.
Added (1). I should also say that my old (2004) computer is disconnected and lost in my basement somewhere. Even if I do find it, it would be nearly impossible to start it up again from over 400 viruses. Which is why I got a new computer
What might work is putting all that music on your iPod classic that you want synced, and then when you plug it into the new computer just go to the iPod in iTunes and select "Backup" and when it backs up to your computer it should bring all the music too. This will not delete anything. Another thing you could try, is to simply transfer the actual raw music files from one computer to the other via CD's, or more efficiently, the hard drives themselves. You can use a two-way USB cable from any tech shop like Best Buy and simply plug the computers into eachother and transfer the music files from one itunes library to the other and then sync your iPhone.
Files are not stored in.MP3 format on your classic, meaning you can't just plug in the classic into your new PC and pull up the music. You have to manually transfer the actual files from the old computer to the new one.
- T-mobile classic 1000 minutes and unlimited text plan? Recently, my sister's friend gave her his iPhone 3g to her, but she already has a phone and gave it to me. A couple days ago my dad added a T-mobie line for me (We have the family plan that has 1000 minutes and unlimited text). Sometimes when i open the messaging/texting app on the iPhone, it says to turn on Wi-Fi or cellular data to access data. We don't have a data plan at all. Will i be charged if i have Wi-Fi + all cellular data turned off when i send or receive text messages?
- Should I get Roller coaster Tycoon 2 or Roller coaster Tycoon Classic on Steam? I've recently purchased RCT: Classic on my iPhone because I heard it was better than RCT3; the first game I was exposed to in the series. I love RCT: Classic even more but was wondering, is it worth it to buy it on Steam or just get RCT2 with all of the expansions? What's the difference between RCT: Classic which combines the two and RCT 2 alone?
- Is it possible to put navigation in a classic? I have a 1966 mustang fastback and would like to add hidden in the dash a touch screen navigation with satellite and sync for my iPod and IPhone. I want to hide it to keep it looking classic when I'm not driving it then Once I'm cruising I can listen to my own music. Is it possible with this older style of course I would have to and another antenna. But is it possible thanks. I need the nav to get me back home it will be restored in las vegas and I need the nav to get me back to cali.
- I've been so fustrated with trying to get my old iCloud account off my old iPhone I forgot the password and recovery key to my iCloud account. I've called Apple and sent a receipt for proof of purchase, but they said it's invalid, because the SN doesn't match which doesn't make sense. Is there another way to just erase everything off the phone myself?
