I have hactivated my iphone 4 now i know my original carrier how do i activate it?
I hactivated my iphone and now i called up apple they told me my original carrirer is vodafone now how do i activate my iphone?

If the iPhone is locked to Vodaphone
You need to put in a vodafone SIM
You need a data connection to activate it.
THat can be the data plan on the SIM OR
any Wi-Fi connection (Most people setup the iPhone to use their home Wi-Fi)
Let it reset and you answer the activation questions
- Will I be able to unlock my iPhone if I don't know the original carrier? Recently my old iPhone broke (water damage) in which my mother gave me her new but un used iPhone 5, I know it's locked to a different network. But I don't know which network, if I went to a shop to get it unlocked, would they be able to if I didn't know the original sim carrier?
- New unlocked iphone 5s (sprint original carrier) battery drains fast and takes longer to charge? It's a brand new phone from EBAY. Everything looks good except battery. it took about 2.5 hours to full charge, overnight it goes RED no SIM inserted and no usage just idle entire night, i upgraded IOS to 12.x still same issue. Please advice i like to retain this phone if battery issue is resolved otherwise return it.
- Iphone 4s 5.1.1 activate without original SIM? I have a friend and he is from France( I'm from Greece)! He just gave me an iphone 4S because he bought a new one! It was originally from Verizon but I want it from sprint. Because I bought It from eBay and it was Verizon and I have sprint. Do I just take it to the sprint store and say " can I add this phone to my plan"? What do I do or say to sprint?
