I got about 15 on my iphone, i use about 6 of them haha, need to remove them, 12
I about average to be honest, best not to have too many as they slow the phone down i think and take up memory, but its your choice lol.
Apps don't slow the phone down, what slows the phone down is if you leave all of them open. You need to double tap and swipe them up to close them out in the background.
I have quite a few, sports, news, ibooks, games, photo related apps, etc.

And there are pre-instaled apps that I wish to get rid of to save data, save battery life, etc. The apps are stocks, maps, and weather. - If new iPhones in the shops have ios 8 installed. Will they still have the same gigabytes? Cause ios 8 takes away 4.1 gigabites and if for example a iPhone 6 with 16 gigabites had ios 8 installed onto it like the rest would it take away some gigabites and when people buy it it would be. 11 gigabytes? I'm 14year old girl saving up for a iPhone 6 and wondering about ios 8 and new phones gigabytes
