I have tmobile but i want the iphone?

Can i go to a tmobile store to unlock my iphone? Or do i do it myself?

Wait for next year as t-mobile is gonna carry the whole iphone line next year so be patient.

If you have an AT&T iPhone and your contract is up, you can have it unlocked by AT&T for free. It would then work on T-Mobile. Keep in mind that T-Mobile's data network is incompatible with AT&T's so you will be stuck at EDGE data speeds on the T-Mobile network.

There are some "services" that claim to be able to unlock your phone for a fee, however if you ever update the IOS the carrier lock will be restored. Only the original carrier can fully and permanently unlock a carrier-locked phone.

If it's a Verizon iPhone it's not possible to use it on the T-Mobile network even if it's unlocked by Verizon.
