I imported photos on to my mac from a memory card and now I can't find them?
I have a Macbook Air 2013, I imported my photos off on my memory card (its a SanDisk SD card) when it asked me if i wanted to delete them, I deleted them all off of my card. And now about a week maybe even a few days later I can't find them for the life of me! I think I searched pretty much everywhere for them and I still can't find not one photo that I imported. Although the photos I imported to my iPhone showed up. But that is it! 3,000 photos, GONE!
Did you try the All my Files sidebar section in the Finder (assuming you are running a version of OSX that has that) and or a search through the computer for any image files on it recently?
Either should help find them assuming they were properly imported in the 1st place.

I had resriction codes I wanted to get rid of so I backed up my photos with the help of apple assistance, and AFTER I restored my phone to a new phone I noticed there's a big gap of missing photos. It isn't that it only saved old photos, because iPhoto has my most recent photo, but before that is missing 4 months of picture, please help me.

I didn't delete them either. I have a whole load of albums arranged by import date, but not this one. How can I find it again? They usually go straight to the 'pictures' section. They did the other night when I imported them, but they aren't there now.
- My iphone 5 is using 7.1gb of memory on photos and i have only 200 photos? I recently discovered that my iphone would not allow me to take pictures as i was out of memory it says i have 3gb left of 10.3gb and the most usage by a mile is my photos which is using 7.gb of memory all my other things arnt even a gb i don't understand this as i have around 200 photos in camera roll same in pictures and 33 videos, but surely that wouldnt use 7gb would it? It also keeps attempting to back my phone up but gives error of no memory please help thanks.
- How to import photos from an iPhone to a Mac and delete them off the iPhone after? I have a PC and I recently did this a few days ago w no problem but my friend who owns a Mac asked for my help. She already imported all her photos but when she imported them she didn't choose to delete them off her iPhone because she didn't see the option to. I told her to delete the file from her mac so she can import the pictures again to choose the delete option, but she said she can't delete an entire file. I'm not familiar with macs so any info can help, thanks!
