I just dropped my iphone in water by accident, suggestions?
So i dropped my iphone on water, i dried it off with my towel as soon as possible. Before i did any research i was dumb so what i did was turned on my phone, everything seemed to be working well, but the sound was worse, there was sound but not alot, about 5 minutes later the sound got a better, not 100 percent recovered but it was better. Now that i did the research on how the save the iphone i turned it off and put it in rice and now its been sitting there for a 15 minutes. Was that the sound got a bit better when the 5 minutes flew by a good sign that the sound can return to normal? What you think is going to happen to my phone in general?
Put it in a bowl of rice
DO NOT put it in rice. Power it off, leave it in open air with circulation and do not try to turn it back on for at minimum two days if not three.
The rice trick simply doesn't work.
Take it apart take the battery and sd card out and lay in all in a bowl of rice but NOT in the sun you will ruin the battery and sd card leave it in there for 2-3 days but the longer the better
Your phone should be ok, you should have left it in the rice for longer so that that all the water molecules present in the phone can be absorbed by the rice.
- My iPhone 4s will not connect to my home Wi-Fi no matter what suggestions I try. Any suggestions? So I never had an issue connection to my home Wi-Fi before with my iPhone 4s, until 2 days ago. I have done everything; forgotten the network, reset the network settings, ect. No matter what I read on these forums, nothing seems to really work. I don't know how to do much with electronics and such, so things suggested like with the static IP and all of that, I don't understand. Please, if anyone can help me, I'd truly appreciate it.

- Just dropped Iphone 6 into bathtub full of water? Its working perfectly fine, taking photos, playing music etc and is sitting in rice now. Just wondering if there will be any side effects to my phone. Was only in the bath tub for about 7 seconds.
- Is it possible to dial a number from an Iphone by accident? Someone called me and the call lasted 11 seconds, I know who it is but he did not speak, I only heard a noisy on the background, like a party or a loud tv. After 11 seconds he hung up the phone. He owns an Iphone but how can one dial and notice the call after 11 seconds or even dial a phone by error from an Iphone?
