I just realized i downloaded illegal music? Am I screwed?
I'm an idiot. I don't know what i was thinking when i downloaded over 300 songs illegaly through an iphone "free music download app." Because if that, I deleted the whole entire app. Can i still get in trouble for this? If so, then how bad of a punishment can it possibly be?
I think its allgood to get music like that, here where i'm, i have never heard of someone being prosecuted about downloading music.

Well, downloading illegal music isn't often recognised too easily. I wouldnt worry, as long as it was a mistake.
And there's a huge fine. Around 300,000 dollars for ten songs
I have about thousands of songs and videos downloaded for free. And i don't care, I still download so does every teenager with an internet connection
You are fine! The only way you know that you will be in trouble, is that if your ISP ( Internet service provider) sends you an email or contacts you some other way saying that you have participated in illegal activity. I know cox will have a 10 strike program, and most other have a 3 strike program. Strike program as in times they have thought you to be doing illegal activity. They do not contact authorities unless they have warned you many times before. What I would personally do if you were worried would be to: take off your Wi-Fi password and if for some reason they contact you you say, I can't keep track of who uses my Wi-Fi. All this info is if you downloaded via Wi-Fi. If you used cellular data, they have so many people using apps like that they will not keep track on who downloaded a few illegal songs. You can always claim ignorance.
Re-format your drive and ask your ISP for a new IP address.
Delete them. They usually contain viruses and similar junk.
- Volume on my iPhone 4 is screwed up? Since yesterday whenever I put my earphones in it works for a bit but then music still plays but I won't hear anything from my earphones and the sound bar completely disappears.
