I just want to make sure that this not a scam?
I put an ad on craigslist for my iPhone. This guy said he wanted it, so I told him to send the money to my Paypal account. He said he did but I don't can't see it in my account. I got an email from Paypal service@intl.Paypal.com say I have receive a patent of $ to my account. Showing me the address I should send it to witch is in Nigeria. He told me I have to send the item first and then they'll send me my money. I just want to know that this is not a scam. Some help me

Never accept payments through paypal when using Craigslist, this is definitely a scam, it would of showed on your paypal acct and anyone asking you to ship before payment is a scam, it happens to a lot of people, do not send

You did not get any money - you got a fake Paypal email from a Nigerian scammer. Forward it to spoof@paypal.com and block the scammer's address from contacting you
This is why Craigslist is very clear in their scam warnings to ONLY deal with people you meet face to face, NEVER give out your Paypal details to anyone and AVOID every transaction that involves shipping
Any time the buyer can't meet you in the public location of your choice and give you cash you are being scammed
Relist the phone and put in the ad
CASH ONLY, LOCAL BUYERS ONLY, NO SHIPPING, NO EXCEPTIONS
and ignore everyone wanting anything else or you are getting screwed
You should also look at changing your Paypal email address as these criminals are going to try and hack your account and target you with phishing scams now that they know your account details
