I lost my iPhone 5, can I track it using IMEI number?
I lost it. Is there any possible way to track it? If someone found it and wiped it can I still track it using the IMEI number? Or is it a lost cause. I kow apple says they won't flag the phone as stolen and neither will the carrier, but can it be tracked by imei?
The IMEI number is linked to the phones microchip inside and that can't be wiped without it being taken from the phone and destroyed. If you have the IMEI number taake it to the police and they can track it for you. In future register with Find my Iphone and you can track the phone easily.
