I lost my Iphone abroad.need advice?
I have phone insurance with barclays. My iphone got stolen while I was abroad, and I reported it to the local police there within 24 hours. I didn't call my phone company here because I wasn't using my UK sim-card, I was using a local sim card. In the terms and conditions it says I should inform Barclays, but if you're outside the UK you have 48 hours from when you return, so should I call them now?
I just got back to the UK last night and I'm not sure what I should do.
Does anyone know what my chances are of barclays covering the costs of a new iphone?
Yes, you need to report it within 48hrs, so now would be a really good time.

BUT you did not contact your network,
OK, not their SIM but, they can still block the phone from being used (and therefore sold) by anyone - even with a foreign SIM, and it is for that reason that you should also reprot the 'phone' not just the SIm card lost.
- Need some serious advice about my iphone 4s? I dropped my iphone 4s in the water a few days ago. I left my phone in rice like people told me to for two days, but it doesn't seem to work. My contract ends in november but they said i can change my phone on july 14. I have verizon btw. I have like three weeks left, but i have some very important stuff in my phone and i'm expecting some calls/texts. Will verizon fix my phone, but more importantly, can they fix my phone? Or is it dead already? any advice would be appreciated!
- Lost iPhone, some advice on getting a new one? I lost my iPhone so it bugs me how I even gotta get a new one from so many things i had in the phone. But I suspended the account and then I was thinking on getting a new one from the store company. I have a plan… Would they make me pay the same amount I got the phone at first? Or more? For a replacement, cus I lost mine.
- IPhone newbie. I need advice? I have always had an Android. I dropped it and broke the screen. I was able to upgrade to an iPhone for free. My question is this: is there any app that has free songs on it already? Not looking for an app that takes me to a website. Androids have tons of apps that have tons of songs in their libraries. So far, I can't find an iPhone app that does.
- IPhone 3GS problem need advice? My iphone 3gs is just stuck on the itunes screen where it has the itunes symbol and the usb lead end below it can't actually use the phone as its stuck on this screen, is there a fix for this I've heard of this problem before an I sure there's a fix but I can't remember much but I think someone said ages ago that the phone may need updating but I don't know, I'd be very grateful if someone could help me with this though thanks in advance shaun.
