I lost my iphone! If someone found it can they use it?
Can they erase everything and use it as if it was one they bought? I can't believe i lost it and i didn't even have a lock on it! Ugh.
You should be able to deactivate the phone if there's no tracker on it, and if its an iPhone and you have the app find my iPhone you can turn the service off. Otherwise deactivate it and replace it until/if you find it so nobody can use your phone.
Use iLocalis. This lets you log in to the website to find your missing iPhone. You can also log in and send yourself a message. If the sim card has been changed, you'll also be able to get the thief's new phone number.

- Reported my iPhone 6 lost, can the person who found it still use it? I went to t-mobile to get a new phone because i lost mine, for the person who found my phone and has it can they still use it? T-mobile said they filed a claim, what does that mean?
- Can they get into the phone if they know the passcode when it's in lost mode? I had an iPhone with a passcode and it and it got stolen by someone I know. But they know the passcode to get in the phone. If the phone is in lost mode, can they still open the phone with the passcode? Or you you have to disable it through Find my IPhone? I won't report this person but I want to make sure they can't use the phone, even if they have it.
- If someone shows as 1m with no green dot on facebook messenger, have they blocked me seeing when they're online? On my messenger app on my iphone, if i open a chat to the person, it'll say "active now" but on facebook.com it doesn't show a green dot. Just says 1m.
- If I get someone an iTunes gift card, can they use it to buy movies and then watch those movies on AppleTV? I haven't really been able to find a practical answer on any Apple site or forum. My brother buys & rents a lot of movies via his AppleTV. I want to get him an iTunes gift card but am not sure if buying movies on the AppleTV works through iTunes. Would an iTunes gift card work for this purpose? I know it may have to be redeemed on a phone/computer but I want to know if it can then be used on the AppleTV.
