I'm almost 23, why is my mom tracking my location on my phone?
I came back home for summer break from college. I will be 23 soon. My mother has been insufferable since being home. The first night I went out I lost my keys, and she hasn't given me keys since. Also, she tries to make me get back home at 12 am.
I do not understand the point of being home at 12 am or not giving me keys when I have been away at school for almost 4 years. At school, I will stay out until 2 am. She is also convinced I'm an alcoholic when I don't drink during the week.
She has called me every name in the book, screams in my face constantly. I also found out that she started tracking my location on my iPhone.
What is the point of this? My friends said this makes no sense and I agree. I don't get why she is being like this all of the sudden. Her fiance lives here and probably thinks I did something bad but I haven't.
Because your phone makes it easy for her to do…
Maybe she is overly protective.
Your mom is abusive and has mental problems. You should watch out and try to distance yourself from her.
One day your mother will die and you're gonna regret all the times you didn't listen to her. Follow the rules it's not that hard
She sounds like she's having trouble letting go, coupled with some sort of health issue maybe or is being influenced by her fiancé.
Best to go to the apple shop, disable the tracking and move out permanently.
You went out, soon after arriving back "home", and likely got drunk and lost the keys to her home. You don't know whose hands they ended up in and neither does she. That's pretty darn irresponsible from a guest of ANY age.
Outside of that… Perhaps 23 has gotten too old to spend your time at Mom's house when you aren't at school. Do you still live in the dorms? No job and shared apartment with other students/singles? How come?
My suggestion is that you're too old for this behavior. If you're going to move "home" for school break at 23 years of age… Get a job while you're there and be a grownup instead of a partying teenager on break. Get a job. The fact that you're "home" for summer break implies that you aren't supporting an apartment or yourself and it's very clearly time for that to happen!
In My Opinion She's Is Just Been A Hover Mother Because She's Worried Abt Her Baby No Matter How Old You Get. She Does Need To Give You Your Space As well As In These Days We All Live In Now You Can Never Be To Careful
Maybe she's just having trouble relishing or believing your an adult she might just be worried About letting you go of and make you own life. F
Well if she is like this, I would tell you to move out and leave her and the tracking device as soon as possible. Once you leave you know she will regret the decisions she made with you and will be crawling back for you, she will also probably die painful knowing what she did was not worth doing, because she lost her daughter in the process. I think you should ask her why she is tracking you, maybe she didn't realize, maybe she wants to know where you were, if you are still living with her then that's your problem.
Maybe you should stay somewhere else for the summer, too much drama at your place
- Why my iphone 5a says storage is almost full why I've almost nothing? So my iphone 5s says my storage is almost full while pictures is about 800! And I've no music no books and no big apps! This happened before And I tried deleting all pictures and most of the apps but nothing changed! So I had to format & update my phone then it worked… Now it happened again I can't delete my stuff because it's ridiculous! Why do I have to do this while my phone isn't really full:"( Now I have only 251 MB available:"
- Why does mom get cell phone service in the mountains and I don't? She has the LG 6G and i have the iPhone 7 plus. We both have Verizon and we're on the same plan. But we will be in the mountains and she get's service and I don't. Why is that?
- Tracking my location from 2 days ago with iPhone. Is that possible? I was at a place 2 days ago and I don't know where it was. Can I locate it somehow via location services? Is there a way?
- Tech geniuses. Is there a way to fake your iPhone s location? *specifically on find my friends /location services*? Wondering if anyone can help me either 1) freeze my iPhones location at a specific spot or 2) completely fake the location (without jailbreaking my phone) I'm required to share my location at all times to my parents and need a night a feeedom.
