I'm getting the iphone x for christmas?
What case should I buy for it, something that is not too bulky but still protective and is less then 30 dollars

Sure, get a $1000 phone and put the cheapest case you can get on it. Sounds like a plan.
Since that is most subjective, I'd simply recommend checking sites like Best Buy or Amazon, narrow down your search & see what comes up as best for you. Could also try Apple.com.
- What are you getting your family members for Christmas? I'm having trouble deciding what to get family for Christmas. Mostly my parents. My sister will be a little earlier to shop for. So far I'm getting my dad a Big Bang theory calendar since he loves that show and he already has a few bbt shirts, hats etc. He also like world of Warcraft so I'm going to get him something wow related and for my mom all I have so far is an iPhone 5 case.
