I'm stuck at activation lock! (Iphone 5 factory reset)?

I had been on punishment for a good 3 months. So when i finally got my phone back I'm currently stuck on the Activate iPhone screen. They changed my info to where they could see my text and all. (Over protective parents). The thing is, they did it 3 months right when they took the phone. So when i got it back they forgot the apple id password, security questions, and the emails she used to reset the password and my account is currently disabled for how long, i don't know. And she doesn't no the current email address that could be used to verify the identity so every time i try it says, Your Identity could not be verified at this time, please try again. What can I do? Who can I take it to, and will it cost?

Activation lock is unbeatable and only Apple have the ability to reactivate a locked iPhone under strict conditions.

If your parents paid for it, still have the receipt with one of their names on it, and if the receipt has the phone seal or IMEI number or the receipt clearly ties to a delivery involve with the same information then the documentary proof of ownership is complete. The named parent can then make an appointment for the Genius Bar at an Apple Store and take along the phone, the documentary proofs of ownership and usually two forms of ID such as a recent bank statement or utility bill with the owners name and address and a passport or full driving licence. If Apple are totally satisfied as to ownership then they can then totally wipe and reset the iPhone. I don't know whether a fee is charged for the service or not, and the process does lose all data stored on the iPhone so hopefully you've been backing it up as the manufacturer recommends.

If Apple have any doubts at all about proofs of ID and ownership or if there's no link between proofs of purchase and that individual iPhone then they'll refuse to re-activate it and the phone will remain a useless handset suited only as a spare parts donor.

  • Will the MAC address of my iPhone reset if I reset my iPhone to its factory settings over iTunes? I have jailbroken my device and used terminal to change my MAC address so that I could connect to school's Wi-Fi. But when I wanted to change it to its initial number, I typed in a wrong value and it just messed up my Wi-Fi, I can't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Wonder if resetting to factory settings would help…
  • Stuck iPhone 4 lock button! Stuck/Stripped screws Okay so, I've had this stupid panda case on my phone and it jammed my lock button. It still works if you push super hard from the side, but no clicking sound. I saw how to fix it by opening my phone up but the screws won't come out no matter what! I tried a screwdriver alone, with duct tape, rubber band, double sided tape, everything! I don't have a warranty on my phone, and I'm looking for a super inexpensive (>$5) way to fix it, any ideas?

My iPhone I bought a few months ago was jailbroken/unlocked but when I wanted to restore the iPhone and remove the jailbreak and such, it got stuck on the Activation Screen. Can anyone help me fix this? I honestly have no clue on what to do. It is not in service or anything, it is just stuck. Answers needed As soon as possible, thank you.
  • My iPhone 3G is stuck on the dock reset screen/loading circle stuck? For some reason my iPhone 3G is stuck on the dock home screen, like this: and it has that tiny loading logo, like this: that is stuck in the middle. I can't reset because my power button no longer works so I only use the home button to turn it on and since it is jailbroken i slide the top bar, press power, the lock, so i have no use of my power button. The loading circle is still spinning and its been doing this for about an hour >:( Help?
