I'm too old to play video games but I can't put them down

I'm a 23 year old female who grew up with video games. I wouldn't consider myself a hardcore gamer as now I only play casual iPhone games and a couple on PS4 here and there. While other girls were spending money on clothes I was buying the latest system. While other girls were concerned with boys and careers and friends I was lost in my games. Therefore I grew up to be really anxious around people and being online or on video games was my happy escape.

But now I feel like I'm too old for this. I need to focus on my career and networking and every time I know I need to do some work, I end up playing some stupid game for 3 hours. It's just automatic. I have no clothes, no friends, and my social skills suck. I never go out or do anything and my career goals seem so out of reach. And because I've spent so long sitting on my a** playing these games, I've become extremely lazy and can sit in one spot for hours even if I'm not doing anything important. I could be studying, doing my hair, nails, calling people, getting errands done, etc.

How do I kick this habit to the curb and "grow up"? Everytime I try to stop my phone sits there begging me to play with it… And it's not just games, it's Facebook, instagram, etc. I live with my boyfriend and he pretty much spoils me, brings me whatever I want which isn't helping my laziness… I'm not fat or anything, I'm actually pretty attractive but I never feel that way…

I'm 20 and I prob won't grow out of it. I don't want to be like every other girl who makes a fuss over makeup, their hair, their clothes. I could care less. I've evened out my time to work hard and on spare time I have the decision to go out, play video games, or watch a movie, plus I usually get to be with my fiance. There's always a way to balance everything out.
