I need some advice on how to deal with being a victim of online shopping fraud?

Ok so i'm really pissed at what this guy has done. I paid him for an iphone 7 via bank transfersand we agreed he'd post it. As soon as I sent screenshots as proof he blocked me so i can't contact him. I've reported the ad but they seem to be taking time in taking it down. I also reported to action fraud and waiting for a reply though i doubt they'd do much. Well anyway I have come up with a plan but need advice on it.
btw my parents paid for the phone and this happened last night so they still don't know about it. They're gonna kill me so i really need some good news for them.
Anyway, I know this guys name, full address, phone number and email. It'd take me 5hrs driving to get there but I have a uncle close by who can easily pop down. I have all this info. But what should i do? Should i get my uncle to go speak to him? Should he take the police with him? Should i report it to the police and let them take further action?(hate this option btw)
Help!

Added (1). let me just tell you guys how i got his info.
Name: from bank details
Address: We agreed with collection and then i changed to post
Phone number/email: Communication and website

It has to be the Police only now as your message on here could be said to contain veiled threats. You don't want the guy to be conning even more out of you for potential stalking.

He gave you nothing, the name is probably fake as is the address

Anybody can give a name and address to an online buyer.

You got scammed, the police will not get involved as the local police have no jurisdiction where the buyer is.

Chalk it off as a learning experience, this guy I'm sure does this for a living, he moves around, uses fake names, addresses.

Trust me he did not give you his real name or address. You have the name he gave you and the address he gave you, both are fake

I hate to tell you but the information this guy gave you may be fake.

Go tell your parents, and take all the evidence you have to the police.
DOn't send him any more communications. Just go make a police report.
Not your fault, but it's a lesson in not buying things like phones secondhand or over the internet.

  • What are some reliable shopping websites? So I'm looking into buying an iPhone 5c online for a good price & I have no idea where to start. I really don't trust the internet and I was wondering what website can I go to that is known to be reliable and won't take your money away? I have been on amazon and eBay. Are these reliable?
