Disable any iPhone is very easy by dropping it into water and nobody knows you did it in purpose.
Nobody wants to buy used outdated iPhone. I saw some put out for garage sale, $20 each.
If you think you will be able to bypass the Ask to Buy and purchase without parental approval, then bad luck. The system is set up by the family organiser precisely for the reason of letting the organiser keep control. You could, of course, spend your own money on whatever you want.
They would know you bought something anyway, when they look at their credit card or bank statement. You are SOL.
