I only have 3 gbs of data on my iPhone, how long can i use netflix?

We're going on a roadtrip, and i plan on using my iphone 4 to watch netflix, but i only get 3 gigs of data. How long can i watch netflix WITHOUT going over my data? Like how many hours.

Well i was in the same situation once and i calculated that one episode of an average tv show (roughly 45 minutes) takes up 200mb of data. So i would say you can watch about 13 episodes (585 minutes) considering you will need about 400mb for other use

Netflix recently upgraded the quality available to the iPhone. It now gets 480p with a max bit rate of 1.75 Mbps. That is 787.5 MB per hour. You could watch roughly 3.8 hours. You could probably watch more because it is unlikely that your network will constantly main the 2.45 Mbps Netflix requires to get the best stream. They require 40% overhead.

  • Why does Netflix have only some episodes? I want to watch iCarly and I can't find full episodes anywhere online, not even YouTube (I have to watch it on my iPhone) and Netflix only has Season 1 an 2? Why? I want to watch newer episodes but I can't because Netflix doesn't have them. Is there a link or site someone can give me to watch iCarly free online? No download either and preferably no account. Please!

  • Iphone 6. Data and Wi-Fi turned on. Will apps only run on data? Or, will it use Wi-Fi when available? It seems i'm burning through data. I tried turning off data to an app i was using when i had Wi-Fi while cannected to Wi-Fi and continually received a message to ho to settings>Cellular>Cellular Data>Use cellular data for>then a selection of aps like safari, google maps, ap store… With cellular data turned off or if just the app chosen not to use data. I was unable to access when connected to Wi-Fi.
