I replaced my iPhone 6 screen a week ago. Today I have no signal?
My phone worked fine after replacing my screen about a week ago. Today it lost all signal and only shows "searching". I'm unsure if they re related, but I've done a network reset, soft, and hard reset, and yes. I tried turning it to airplane mode. No joy
Have you checked with your network to see if there are any problems in your area?
If you're sure that the network is fine then either a new fault has occurred to the phone, or there was more damage than just a broken screen, or you failed to properly reconnect an internal connection when you replaced the screen.
The last one is the most likely cause, and it's the only one you're likely to be able to fix.
One other possibility is that you fractured a conductor strip on one of the ribbon cables. If so then you may need another replacement screen.
- When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.
- IPhone 6 screen non responsive. This is not the known issue. I have replaced screen / digitizer and it works normally for an hour or so? Then the screen freezes and if press on the screen sometimes it will work sometimes not same with a reboot… I restored the phone completely wondering if it was a software issue and it's not prob still continues. Connectors are al good yet I still believe it's an hardware issue.
