I replaced the glass on my iPhone 5S and now the vibrator won't work?

I recently cracked the screen on my phone so I took it into this guy who replaced the screen for me. It's great. Good as new! Only problem is… The vibrator that would normally buzz when I get a text or plug in my iPhone, has stopped working… I've gone into my settings to check and see if it's on (it is) and I've tried to restart my phone. That didn't work either. So I'm not sure what the matter is… Does the placement of the glass have something to do with the operation of the little device inside the phone that vibrates?

This is why I would always take it to an Apple store instead, take it to professionals or it will cost you more in the long run.

If your contract is up, then I would upgrade and get a new contract as Walmart just started offering this below.

  • When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.
