I says my iPhone password is wrong but I'm certain it's correct?

I went on my phone using my regular password (word password, not the 4 numbers one) and it was working fine but a few hours (2 or 3) later I went on my phone and it said incorrect password. My phone hadn't left my sight, so I'm very confused. 1. How could this have happened? 2. How can I get into my phone without restoring it because I really don't want to loose everything, I've had this phone for almost 3 years. It's the iPhone 4. I'm so worried.

Maybe it has capitol letters in it and you have misspelled it? Don't keep putting it in because after however many attempts it will lock it and reset. Or take it to the apple store.

Contact apple and see what they can do without restoring it. As of now, try as hard as you can to remember if your typing in the right password. A method that works for me is just start think 0-9 and hopefully you'll feel one of those is familiar.

See this video without computer you can unlock it http://www.google.co.in/...v.44770516, d.bmk orrrrrrrrrr try thisssssss http://www.google.co.in/...v.44770516, d.bmk

You could have had a capital letter and/or the caps lock enabled when you set or entered it.
