I spilled soup on my iphone 4s yesterday, and everything was okay afterwards?
But then my charger won't recognize it on the computer, yet it still charged. Today, when I got home it kept charging and uncharging. I tried the blowdrying method for a minute and turned on my phone. Please tell me there's hope for my phone it no longer has warranty and I really don't want to go through repair.
Added (1). Also the music no longer works and I shut the entire phone down. When should I turn it back on?
Added (2). Music works when I tried to turn it on, but the screen was pretty shaky. I'm soaking it in rice now. Any tips?
You should have turned it off and put it in some dry rice, keeping it on will fry it, electronics and liquid do not mix.
Drying it won't help if the soup was hot at the time it came in contact with your iPhone. Also the soup isn't like water which evaporates. The soup may have left residue on the surface. The dried soup maybe on the surface of the charging pins. Take a lightly damp rag and wipe the phone down carefully then let it air dry. Get another charging cord and plug it into your PC and see if you can reset it. If nothing happens then you may need to buy a replacement.

- Spilled water on my iphone 4 the screen is completely black but everything else still works? I can answer phone calls and unlock my phone by memory of were everythings at. It recognizes touch and the sound works fine. It just the screen is black. If anyone has ever had this happened and fixed there's please tell me how i need to get this fixed as soon as possible

- If I restorre my Iphone 4 will it turn on afterwards? The screen is black and it still works. It died and the screen popped up the charger thing. I let it charge then it turn on and the screen worked for about 3 minutes then we black again and won't show up once again. Any ideas?
