I spilt coca cola on my iPhone 4s?
At school, i spilt about half a bottle of coke in my bag and my phone was in it, it was quite wet and turned off, then when i tried to turn it on the apple logo came on and white writing at the top, now it won't turn on at all. I have it in rice but its not seeming to work (only been in there a couple of hours), will this work or has the coca cola damaged it? I have just got a new phone after losing my old one. Would apple or any shop repair it or will i have to get a new phone?
Make sure you are taking your phone apart and putting it in rice, otherwise you won't get the full affect. If this doesn't work just wait a couple weeks. If it still won't turn on, get a new phone.
- Water spilt on iPhone? Will it turn back on? So I didn't realize there was water in my phone till after I plugged it in (it was dying) and I made the mistake of turning it on and playing with it. Then the screen was stuck (like when there's droplets of water on the screen) and it was left on headphones mode.
