I stole an iPhone that I found at school. No one knows who stole it, I'm returning it tommarow anonymously?
Will they check for me stealing and returning it on school cameras. Or will it get to the point where police are contacted to find me
You should return it because honestly is good I have found so many missing phones at my school and I just turn them In one time this lady gave me a Chick-fil-A gift card for turning hers in LOL
If you give it back fast enough there's no reason to investigate, Right?
Did you steal it or just find it and take it home? Stealing it implies you had to plan to get it away from someone or take it out of a purse or backpack. If it was just left unattended and you picked it up, returning it to the school office with the simplest explanation possible ("I found it on the floor [in the place you took it] and now I'm turning it in") will avoid most of the interrogations you fear.

Just return it and say you found it and where, stealing is taking it out of someone's bag or pocket with the intention of keeping it
