I stood someone up by accident?

I was getting ready to meet a date yesterday and I was really nervous - I said I would text them when I leave BUT As I was about to leave I dropped my iphone and it smashed and now won't turn on - the only way I have to get hold of this person is their number. WHAT DO I DO? It will just sound like the worst excuse ever and I really like them.

Borrow someone else's phone and let this person know what happened.

  • Will it show up as a missed call if i call someone by accident for half a ring? So I accidentally called my ex on his iphone, but I quickly realized my mistake and hung up after a half ring. Like you know how when you're calling someone it rings, I hung up after the first riiiing. My question is, will it show up on his phone as a missed call? I tested it out on 2 friends. One iphone 5 and iphone 4. They both told me they didn't get a call. Am I in the clear?

  • Is it possible to dial a number from an Iphone by accident? Someone called me and the call lasted 11 seconds, I know who it is but he did not speak, I only heard a noisy on the background, like a party or a loud tv. After 11 seconds he hung up the phone. He owns an Iphone but how can one dial and notice the call after 11 seconds or even dial a phone by error from an Iphone?
