I think I might have been hacked
I have a iPhone 5 and I was on a sketchy website and it redirected my page to a Snapchat add and when trying to exit out of it I clicked a button and it redirect me to Snapchat. Long story short I deleted Snapchat cleared my tabs and turned off and back on my phone. It keeps downloading again by itself. I even disabled AppStore. I think I might have been hacked. What should I do?
IF: you have other devices on the same iTunes account, make sure app sync is turned off, else if you have snapchat on another device it will automatically keep downloading.
ELSE:
1. Restart your phone (which you probably would have already done)
2. Hard reset your device (rapidly press the home and power button until it restarts)
3. Enable so you have to have a password to install apps.
That will learn you about shoddy web sites, walked right into this one.
You can try a 'hard' reset, if that doesn't fix it, your service vendor may be able to clean your phone for you.
You're fine. An iPhone can't be "hacked". It's just not possible. You were hit with a browser redirect. Nothing else. You can ignore it.
With that said, if you were stupid enough to jailbreak your phone, then all bets are off. Outside of that, you don't have anything to worry about.
- Would an elephant make a good pet? I think that they might, Maybe you can tie it to a tree in the backyard I have heard that some animals make great pets. There are rabbits and parrots that are pretty cool. There are also more unusual animals like a donkey and a deer that are supposedly also good as a pet. Now, I know that an elephant can get to be a little large, but I understand that they are smart, kind, and can understand English. Heck, I even saw on the TV that some can paint, like music and can work an iPhone. Would they make a great pet?
- I think my psn account has been hacked So i was gone for the weekend and on the weekend i went to my cousins house and i have them as friends on psn and they told and showed me that i just got offline then they went to their friends list and it said that i last signed in 40 mins ago and i haven't got on in a day. And i have a iphone app called psn bubbies where you can sign into your account and see your friends but i try to sign in with the app but it still said that i was offine on my cousins friends list
- I think my iPhone might be hacked Over the past few days my phone has been slow, logging me out of accounts including banking deleted all of my messages and tabs that were opened on safari apps crashing and also notifications being deleted but i don't know if thats because i literally have no storage left what so ever and i need to update my phone, can anyone help please?
- I think my iPhone 5 is haunted or hacked? So, I'm kinda freaked out I'm using my phone and Siri keeps popping up when I don't even hold the home button. And it will open up like random apps if I'm doing something on the internet or if I'm like watching a YouTube video. Does anyone know what's happening?
