I think my husband is spying on me? Why does my iPhone say Facebook is using your location?
Why does my iPhone say "Facebook is using your location" on the top rim of my home screen when I press the home button to exit the app?
It has never done this before at all.
I ask because my husband and I have been fighting a lot. I was texting my sister about it one day b/c I was really upset needed someone to talk to. Then, he went on my phone and read the messages and went nuts. He's been going onto my phone and laptop and snooping for a while now. I don't know why.
Anyway, I changed my passwords on my phone and laptop because he doesn't want me to talk to my family anymore really at all.
The other day he told me he was thinking about putting some sort of spyware on my phone/laptop. This MORNING, while i was getting ready for an appt., he came in and asked if he could put this workout app on my phone for me. I said sure cuz I like working out, even though I had a feeling he was up to no good.
I noticed my phone telling me that Facebook is using my location services literally right after he gave it back to me.
Sorry for all the rambling, this is all such a mess right now but any insight on this situation would help i suppose.
Honestly, I care less if he's got spyware on my phone. I just know its wrong and I need to know for my own good because I feel like he's controlling my freaking life right now.

My iPhone ALSO says "Facebook is using your location", and I'm 100% nobody put any spyware on my phone.
Reason number 1,534 that you should not have a facebook account.
On your iphone: Settings (app)>Privacy>Location Services, then scroll down to Facebook, and make the selection that turns it off (mine says "Never").
There may be spyware on your phone, but what you described isn't spyware. Someone turned on the location service for Facebook so it will log where you are when you post.
He thinks you are in touch with some other guy.
Put a new password on your phone and don't tell him what it is. It's none of his business.
Reset your phone to factory setings so no one can spy on you.
Restore your iPhone to get rid of any hidden spy app like iKeyMonitor.

You have a far bigger problem with him then just your iPhone. You had better be documenting every thing that has happened and happens in the future when it includes him or you think it may.
- When you rest your iPhone, does it stop sharing your location? If you have your location shared with people indefinitely, and you reset your iPhone will your location stop sharing with them/ will they be notified? (When someone stops sharing location manually it says "so-and-so stopped sharing location with you") Or is the only way to stop sharing your location with someone to go into the convo, and go to details and click "stop sharing location"?
- Tech geniuses. Is there a way to fake your iPhone s location? *specifically on find my friends /location services*? Wondering if anyone can help me either 1) freeze my iPhones location at a specific spot or 2) completely fake the location (without jailbreaking my phone) I'm required to share my location at all times to my parents and need a night a feeedom.
- My husband is active on facebook every 15 minutes since he has an iphone? - 1 His phone says that he's active every 10-15 minutes, should i ask about this? I'm concerned he's not productive at his job.
- Is there anyway to spoof your location on life 360 or change your gps location on an iPhone? I've tired just about everything to not be tracked on Life360 and it will notify if you turn it on airplane mode or turn off your location settings. Also can't delete the app need help. Or is there anyway to change your gps location in an iPhone without jailbreaking it?
