Iphone 4 has a good camera but i suggest you to get iphone4s it has the new ios8 but iphone 4 can't get it. It has a better camera, better Wi-Fi signal, has siri
It is old tech, it only has 8 gb, it is small,
if your under 17 it is perfect, since you will likely lost of break the phone.

Get a 4S if you must. You can load iOS 8 on it - but be aware - there are many apps that are optimized for iPhone 5 or 6 - and they *run hot* - use lots of phone resources - and even make you phone get warm. The 4S has an inherent antennas overload issue that will cause the phone to then overheat internally (does not have to feel warm on the outside - the damage was already done) and then you lose the ability to get Wi-Fi - ANYWHERE, not just your own home h network. This can be fixed with the YouTube-demonstrated "hair dryer and freezer" technique. I have done this several times - and removed all un-needed *hot* apps form this phone. My contract expires 12/27, and we're both getting 6 phones then - so I'm fine doing this for another 6 weeks, since i will save so much money.

Well first of all you will only get 3g service not 4g. 8gb is not a lot of storage because ios 7 take up like 3 or 4 gigs so you will have to delete apps all the time. The iPhone 4 doesn't support IOS 8, but the 4S does, but it is slow and makes your device almost unusable. If you get an iphone make sure its 16gb minimum because 8gb is not enough. IPhones suck anyways. I got the HTC M8 and love this thing.
